The Action Commences In Group 1 on Friday , August 14th  with Kanturk playing  Lismire in Kilbrin at 7.30 pm , This is a must win games for both teams following opening round Championship defeats .

Also on Friday in Group 2 , Castlemagner play Lyre in Rathcoole at 7pm, Castlemagner will be hoping to follow up on their opening day victory over Knocknagree while Lyre will be making their first appearance in the Championship and will be looking to put in a Big Performance.

On Saturday, August 15th, Kilbrin play Ballydesmond in Kiskeam at 6pm, Both teams had impressive opening day wins and a hard fought encounter is expected as both sides strive to lay down a Championship Marker.
